Where an education logo gets used
A tutor's or trainer's logo sits at the top of worksheets, certificates and course notes, on the flyer on the library noticeboard and in the corner of the video lesson. Parents and students read it most on the worksheet in front of them.
Worksheets are photocopied, often in black and white, so the education set uses an underlined wordmark, a chevron and a plain serif that stay sharp after a copier has had a go at them.
A school or a training organisation has more places to fill: enrolment forms, lanyards and a badge on the uniform. The chevron lockup is the closest the set comes to a crest, and the merch folder includes a left chest file for a polo, which an embroiderer digitises first.
The noticeboard flyer
Tutoring is often found through a flyer with tear-off tabs. Our tear-off flyer takes your name and number, with the number repeated on each tab and a headline that falls back to your name if you leave it blank.
Certificates and course notes
The logo downloads as SVG and transparent PNG, which place into a certificate or a set of notes at any size. The guidelines document sets out the type and colours so everything you hand out matches.
Questions
- Will the logo photocopy well?
- Try it in the editor with the ink set to black. The underlined and serif lockups have no fine detail for a copier to lose.
- Is there a flyer to match?
- Yes. The tear-off flyer on the print shelf takes your name, colours and phone number.
